Flanagan, Adelia (17 Oct. 1880 - 7 Jan. 1936)
A telegram was received by Mrs. Abel Harding telling of the death of her sister, Mrs. Leslie Flanagan Jan. 7. She has been a terrible sufferer with cancer the past two years. Mrs. Flanagan would be better known by friends here as Adelia Peck, her former homes Nasonville and Marshfield.
Mrs. Flanagan left her home in Marshfield 1929 to go with her daughter Mayme and son-in-law, Cyrus Rogney of Auburndale to make their home in Los Angeles, Calif. Three years later she married Mr. Leslie Flanagan, of Los Angeles. She was born in Hopkinson, St. Lawrence County, N. Y., Oct. 17, 1880, and came to Nasonville one year later, with her parents to live in Wood County.
She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, a daughter (Mayme) Mrs. Cyrus Rogney of Los Angeles, Calif., her aged father, Aretus A. Peck, who makes his home with his daughter, Mrs. Abel Harding, Neillsville; her sister, (Gussie) Mrs. Harry Schroeder of Kenosha, Wis., and a sister, Pearl, her whereabouts unknown at this writing.
Funeral rites for Mrs. Flanagan were held Saturday morning, at 10:30 o’clock, Jan. 11, at the S. West Funeral Home, Los Angeles.
